Talented Young Player from Tanzania joins the #GarudaSelect Program

Shaban, who is now 17 years old, admits that he is happy to have the opportunity to join the #GarudaSelect.

Shaban Mbwana Kingazi, a player who comes from Tanzania, will be the new member of the family in the #GarudaSelect program this season. Shaban was born in the city of Tanga, May 1, 2003 and comes from one of Tanzania's leading clubs, Azam FC where he plays as a left back.


Shaban’s arrival is part of the objectives of this year Garuda Select Program to broaden Indonesian players' insights about the world of professional football and accustom them to mingling with different international cultures.


Just like other players, Shaban must also undergo quarantine at the beginning of his arrival. Even so, he is still excited about the new things he will encounter. “This program is a part of my effort to pursue After joining this program my target is as part of pursuing my dream of playing football at the highest level,” said Shaban.


Shaban, who is now 17 years old, admits that he is happy to have the opportunity to join the #GarudaSelect program after being monitored by the Garuda Select talent scout team. “There is not much that can be done because of the quarantine, but I am very enthusiastic about joining this program. The Indonesian and Italian players I met here are also very friendly,” said Shaban.


Previously, this year's #GarudaSelect team had the arrival of two Italian players, Lorenzo Berra and Elia Di Guiliomaria. Now Shaban will increase the squad strength of Team #GarudaSelect into a young team comprising of talented players who have the same goal of pursuing their dreams to have a career in international football.
