Shabani Kingazi’s Friendship with Other #GarudaSelect Players

"I am very enthusiastic to join this #GarudaSelect Program. The Indonesian and Italian players I meet here are very friendly," said Shaban.

Shaban Mbwana Kingazi was the last player to join the third batch of #GarudaSelect Program. The player whose position is left-back did not take long to adapt to other players.

"I am very enthusiastic to join this #GarudaSelect Program. The Indonesian and Italian players I meet here are very friendly," said Shaban.

"Shaban is a kind person and easily mingles with others," said Ridwan Ansori. "People are fun and often joke, especially off the pitch like when we get food or before training," added Ridho Syuhada Putra.

"Shaban when on the pitch is very physically strong and has a tough playing style. Outside the field, Shaban is a funny person and likes to make us laugh. There is a story about us playing a snowball fight with the college kids here, Shaban is the one who started first," said Ibnul Mubarak.

The Indonesian players have their own way of getting Shaban to get along with them quickly. This player from Tanzania is often invited to take part in activities, especially off the field, such as praying together.

"I am already familiar with Shaban because my friends and I like to take Shaban when he wants to go out to buy food so that Shaban doesn't just stay in the room. We also like to teach Shaban simple Bahasa Indonesia and invite him to pray together in the congregation," Ridwan said.
