Positive Results of Physical Training for #GarudaSelect Players

After approximately two weeks of undergoing a physical training program, the players are now starting to feel positive changes in themselves.

During lockdown in England, #GarudaSelect players have been undergoing quite tough physical training in order to increase their physical strength. After approximately two weeks of undergoing a physical training program, the players are now starting to feel positive changes in themselves.


"I feel more endurance. I have been building more dense muscle mass. Now even if I have high-intensity training, I don’t easily get tired," said #GarudaSelect attacker, Hokky Caraka.


Like Hokky, Daniel Naa also feels the same thing. According to him, if endurance is no longer a problem, training can be more enjoyable and the players can also more easily apply tactics training material from a coach.


"When it comes to training, it's starting to feel good, it's not like when we first came here. Now we can apply the coach’s teaching more quickly because our physical condition is now much better," said Daniel.


According to Edgard Amping, the physical training does have an influence on fitness and physical strength. However, all of this must be applied and proven in the actual match.


"The physical training that we did yesterday has a good objective. Later, hopefully we can be better when we have ground as well as aerial duels against British players who have bigger postures and stronger endurance,” said Edgar.
