#GarudaSelect Football Director Dennis Wise said attacking midfielder Muhammad Rafli Asrul is the player whom he is going to look forward to in the match against Queens Park Rangers U18 on Saturday (17/4). "I'm looking forward to seeing the action of Rafli, a player who is creative and has an instinct to score goals. I really expect from him more than he has shown so far," said Coach Dennis.
"The coaching team has told Rafli that he should work harder. Rafli has to work hard when he is not in possession of the ball and can play more effectively when he is holding the ball," added Coach Dennis. Rafli has scored one goal so far in the third season of #GarudaSelect. The player who was born in Enrekang, South Sulawesi, scored a spectacular goal from a corner kick in the match against Mansfield U18.
The match against QPR U18 itself is an opportunity for Rafli and his teammates to learn more about football skills. QPR U18 has a higher level than previous #GarudaSelect opponents as they have participated in the Professional Development League competition which is the second level of U18 youth competition in England. They even won the champion title in 2012/2013.
