"Hokky is always a threat in front of the opponent's goal, he is always looking for empty space behind the defender. His finishing is also very good. There are still some things that need to be improved, such as his movements. But overall Hokky is doing very well," said Coach Dennis after #GarudaSelect won 5-1 over QPR U18. The other three goals were each scored by Faiz Maulana, Rafli Asrul, and Wahyu Agong.
It is quite interesting that Hokky initially registered in the selection of the third batch of #GarudaSelect program as a defender. However, the #GarudaSelect coaching team decided to play himself as a striker. The coaching team's decision turned out to be right because Hokky is now listed as #GarudaSelect's top scorer with three goals.
"When Hokky participated in the selection with us, he was registered as a center-back. I have to be honest that I was pretty confused about that because after seeing him, I believed the best position for Hokky is a striker. He has everything you need as a striker. So far, we have been satisfied with his performance and hopefully, he can maintain it, "added Coach Dennis.
In the next test match #GarudaSelect will face Leeds United U18. Leeds U18 are the champions of the Professional Development League in 2019. The match will be broadcast live from the Loughborough University field, Tuesday (20/4) at 18.45 WIB.
