#GarudaSelect midfielder, Fernando Pamungkas, was selected by Coach Dennis as Man of The Match in a 5-3 victory over Crystal Palace U17, Saturday (8/5) evening WIB. Nando was not only impressive in performing his role as the #GarudaSelect midfielder, but he also scored one goal.
Nando gave the #GarudaSelect the lead against Palace U17, which was a Youth Academy Category 1 team when the match had only been running for five minutes. The other four #GarudaSelect goals were each scored by Wahyu Agong Drajat (25 '), M. Faiz Maulana (49'), Elia Di Giulomaria (62 '), and Hokky Caraka (90 + 5').
"Actually there are several players who played very well, but I chose Nando as Man of the Match. I think he could control the game well and it was really great to see him score the goal. His movements in the game are very elegant," said Coach Dennis.
"Occasionally he passed the ball inaccurately and it caused a bit frustrating, but in many things he was really incredible. So, I chose Nando for his overall performance,"continued Coach Dennis.
