Hokky himself can't wait to be able to compete again after the regulations on lockdown easing came into effect in the UK on March 29th.
Hokky Caraka has been participating in the third season of #GarudaSelect training program for 4 months. The Gunungkidul-born player admits that he has really enjoyed every exercise given in the training program and he can feel a lot of development since being trained by Coach Dennis Wise and Coach Des Walker.
"There is a lot I can learn in England, especially about the role of a striker. Originally I played as a defender but currently I am comfortable to play as a striker, especially after applying all inputs and direction from the coaching team," said Hokky.
"The coach's most memorable advice is to play simply and to use only two touches. I will be punished by the coach with a push-up if I use more than two touches," added Hokky.
Hokky also talked about the quality of facilities available in the #GarudaSelect Program which have helped him to further develop as a footballer.
"The equipments here are very modern. There are exercises using mannequins and small goals that I never used in Indonesia. Small goals are useful for training my finishing accuracy. Mannequins can be used as a fortress during free kicks, in set piece training and can function as a goal too," said Hokky.

"Of course I am happy to hear this news. I can't wait to apply what the coach has taught and to measure the extent of my current abilities when I play against English players," explained Hokky.
