After more than four months of going through the quarantine process due to then lockdown restrictions in the UK, #GarudaSelect players had the opportunity to visit and enjoy the city of London, after the match against Queens Park Rangers U18 on April 17.
"After the match against QPR, the coaching team allowed us to enjoy the city of London. I was amazed to see the London Eye and the London Bridge. London is an exciting city with stunningly beautiful sights and attractions. Also, everything in London looks well organized," said Ridho Syuhada Putra.
"Coach Dennis gave players time for a stroll around London to refresh after a long period of quarantine. I really enjoyed it and it was a relief from the boring period of the quarantine. My friends were very happy too because before this London trip we could just walk only around Loughborough," said. Fernando.
As London has been famous as one of the best shopping destinations in the world, while in London the players also explored the shopping areas. "I bought a hoodie and trousers," said Frezy Al-Hudaifi. "I bought some clothes and souvenirs for my family in Indonesia," added Fernando.
After getting a chance to fresh by strolling and shopping in London , #GarudaSelect will return to training in order to prepare for the next match against Huddersfield U18, which will be held on Tuesday (27/4) at 17.45 WIB.
