#GarudaSelect's Director of Football, Dennis Wise, outlines his expectations and hopes for the players for the remainder of the season.
After finishing a series of 'pre-season' training, #GarudaSelect will have a series of matches until the end of the season. #GarudaSelect's Director of Football, Dennis Wise, outlines his expectations and hopes for the players for the remainder of the season.
Coach Dennis hopes that the players can meet the requirements needed to compete with teams in England, especially in terms of fitness. In the future, the coaching team will continuously supervise and direct the players so that they remain in the desired development corridor.
"As they have been working hard for the last three months, one thing that we emphasize is that physically we want them to be able to play pressing as much as possible and to focus on working continuously as hard as possible. We hope they will be at the highest level so that in the match they can always pressurize the opponents by tirelessly chasing the ball" said Coach Dennis.
"We will practice a lot with 11 against 11, so that the players will understand how to press and defend as a team. This upcoming match will be very interesting because we can see which players have been able to absorb the directions in the training more quickly. Of course, the coaching team are always here for them. We will continue to help everyone to have a better understanding of how to become a good footballer. And I am sure they will continue to get better and better over time, " added Coach Dennis.
In the near future #GarudaSelect will play competitive matches again. Two matches have already been scheduled. On Tuesday (6/4), #GarudaSelect will face Mansfield Town U18. Three days later, Cheltenham U18 will be the next challenge for Edgard Amping and the #GarudaSelect team.
