According to #GarudaSelect Assistant Coach, Danny Holmes, Krisna has the abilities that can be further developed.
Krisna Sulistia Budianto is the youngest player to pass the #GarudaSelect selection program in 2018. The Player from SSB Djarum Kudus has promising potential and talent that makes Dennis Wise and Des Walker selected him to come to England.
According to #GarudaSelect Assistant Coach, Danny Holmes, Krisna has the abilities that can be further developed. But although Krisna has the talent, it is important for Krisna to understand tactics too.
“During the first two months with Krisna, we focused on teaching him about understanding tactics. He has to understand his role as a winger like how to make movement and how to open up space. The coaching team also honed his skills in making crosses,” said Holmes.
“Coach Dennis and Coach Des focus on providing direction in every training session and I think Krisna is starting to understand what the coaches’ direction and requests. I hope that in the next few months, when we have a match, Krisna can show what he has been getting from the training. Although Krisna is the youngest player but he has good abilities. So if he continues to learn from and listen to the coaches, his game will surely continue to develop," added Holmes.
“Krisna's strength is that he trains and plays like he is in a park. He enjoys the game by passing around opponents and does not hesitate to make long range shooting. We think that's good and we don't want to prevent Krisna from doing it. However, He has to improve his tactical skills as well as his understanding of the real game of football. If Krisna can combine all of them, then he will become a better player,” explained Danny.
